AcryMed Antimicrobial Enhanced Surface
AcryMed by Meganite is an advanced material made for use in healthcare environments. The material is made with an antimicrobial acrylic solid surface, which integrates antimicrobial protection into the countertop surface, protecting it from stains and bacteria.
Acrymed is tested 99.9% effective against:
- ATCC 33591 Staphylococcus aureus subsp. Aureus (MRSA)
- ATCC 8739 Escherichia coli
- ATCC 9027 Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Repairable
If for some reason your Meganite countertop IS damaged, it can be repaired. By rubbing with a light abrasive pad and a household cleaner, heavy stains and scratches can be completely erased. In the unlikely event your solid surface countertop gets damaged with deep scratches or nicks, or a section that needs to be replaced, we can help. At Pence we use color-coordinated joint adhesive to create inconspicuous seams. Your countertop looks like a continuous smooth surface. You are able to create large designs that look like they are fashioned from a single piece. These joining techniques make sure there are no cracks or crevices to trap dirt and bacteria.
